My Time in robotics - wylie muller

I've been with the Whitmore Lake robotics program for about 8 years now, starting all the way in 2018 with the middle school team and that year's game, Rover Ruckus. My time in FIRST has definitely had some ups and downs, like when my last two FTC seasons were pretty much cancelled because of the pandemic, overall though I've enjoyed being in the program, and if I could I'd repeat the last 8 years at least one more time.  I've been able to have so many unique experiences with my teammates in 3668 and 8492 like the road trips to worlds and our program's new tradition of going to culvers after the end of a competition, plus I've learned a lot about stuff that'll benefit me later in life, like how to be a backup articulator for both a middle school and high school robot, what the inner workings of custom ink look like, how to 3D model, how to manipulate most free image editing software, how to hunt people down about deadlines, plus the basics of teamwork and professionalism.
